Mr. T has learned all sorts of new things! We even made Stone Soup for supper one night and acted out the story with his ImagiNext Eagle Talon Castle. I even let him play with a sword we made from toilet paper rolls and a construction paper pad backing. We have to go flimsy on anything that could be used against Mr. F. The awesome *free* lap book pieces came from Lapbook Lessons. We just printed and colored and glued. Here are some pictures of our unit fun!
Our three weary soldiers
Making plastic stone soup
Our three clean stones for the crock pot
Browning onions and beef
We used kale instead of cabbage
Chopping potatoes with his favorite chopper
Love the glue stick!
Our finished Stone Soup. It was delicious.

I can't wait to do more fun lap books, and now that we have done one, I think the next unit will have a lot more fun things in the lap book itself. Do you have a great resource you'd like to share? We'd love to have a few more.
