Thing 1 and Thing 2's Excellent Adventure - The Newnan, Georgia Leg
Thing 1 and Thing 2, our dear little friends, showed up on a Sunday, to our neighbor's house they had been.
Once they made it inside, the house was a mess, they pulled out all the puzzles and turned the couch into a nest.
Then they visited Big Bird and Elmo who showed them the ropes, then they all snuggled up to watch us make some new soap.
Bedtime came and bedtime went but the Things kept on playing until our patience was spent.
After a story they snuggled up in their socks and fell asleep to the ticking of Sesame Street clocks.
We traveled and traveled, we went and we went, and after so many car rides the Things were both spent.
When they awoke the Things were quite hot, so out to the pool and a nice shady spot
went our dear friends Thing 1 and Thing 2, relaxing and playing as Things like to do.
We drove to the south and the Things were excited, we saw Sweet Home Plantation and all were delighted.
Off off again to the mountains we went, to Gatlinburg Tennessee for a birthday weekend event.
The mountains were pretty, the cabin quite nice, the rocking chairs rocked and the apples were spiced.
The Things they explored up high and down low, they checked every rock for a rock dwelling Moe.
Those curious Things, they wanted to know how it would be to play in Aloe.
Look, look at that! What do you see? Frank and Ernest are playing un hide and seek!
Oh look there! Isn't it sweet! Ernest is kissing Thing 1 on the cheek!
Though we were sad to see them go on, Thing 1 and Thing 2 gave us lots of great fun!
