'Tis the season for all things thankful, all thing merry and all things overwhelming! The cooking, baking, cleaning, shopping, giving, receiving, gatherings and general holiday "stuff" can sometimes overshadow the joy of the season most of us look forward to as soon as there is a tiny bit of chill in the air signaling Fall and Winter. We are always looking for ways to incorporate meaningful and stress-free experiences for our family. Here are some of the activities we enjoy:
An advent journey for toddlers, Pre-K and early elementary. Each day you have a scripture lesson and then craft an ornament to go with that story. We love ours! There is even a special printable ornament set you can purchase if you don't have time for all the crafts or if you need something for little hands to work on while you are reading that days lesson!

Saint Nicholas' Feast Day is December 6th. Even though we are not Catholic, we do learn about Saint Nicholas and about his amazing heart for the Lord. Check out our fun (free) preschool mini unit!
